my parent's birthdays are a week apart. mom's last week and dad's yesterday (he turned the big 75 which is the new 35 of course). they are amazing!
he canceled a show that i had tickets for earlier this year but came back to town last week. hooray!

it's been over a month since my last post because i've been so busy making sure that the correct Thanksgiving and Black Friday spots air properly as we head into the busiest time of year for advertising.
if you think it's out of control when xmas decorations go up the day after Halloween and people camp out for the "best" deals when stores open at midnight right after Thanksgiving- turns out Black Friday sales are starting BEFORE Black Friday now. take a listen to the spot I did yesterday.

earlier this summer my brother and sister in law had a big BBQ. these are the lights in the back yard.
Michelle Branch stopped by today. she played 4 songs including her new single "sooner or later" and a really sweet song that she wrote for her 4 year old daughter Owen called "crazy ride".
(some are a bit fuzzy. silly dark conference room!)
